Summary

PSA reports that on October 13, 2026, multiple customer orders were stolen from a FedEx carrier truck after pickup at its Santa Ana, California facility. PSA says it has published the complete list of all 6,451 stolen items (cert numbers, plus serial numbers for serialized cards), deactivated the cert number of every stolen graded item, and shared the list with marketplaces, auction houses and digital commerce platforms. The Santa Ana Police Department and the FBI are investigating, per PSA. These are genuine PSA slabs, not fakes, but a deactivated cert means the slab should not be bought or sold as a normal certified item.

Reported diagnostics

  • Cert lookup at psacard.com/cert no longer returns a normal active result
  • Cert or serial number appears on PSA's published stolen-items list
  • Recently graded high-value card offered quickly, cheaply, or off-platform with no purchase history

What to do

Before paying for any recently graded PSA card, run the cert yourself at psacard.com/cert and check it against PSA's published stolen list. If it matches, do not buy; contact PSA and the FBI per PSA's instructions.
